where are you located?
I live in Maryville, Missouri but I service all of the Northwest Missouri area. I have a studio located outside of city limits on our homestead.
what is your style?
My style is very simple with lots of texture. I love a beautiful balance of posed and lifestyle photography. I help to guide you through your session with cues to help to evoke those genuine moments. I am a lover of all things neutral colored and love all those tiny details.
what locations do you use?
Locations are based on your vision for your session. I'm open to all location ideas, whether that be in studio, greenhouse, field of flowers, downtown city scape, or a historical park.
Can I print my images myself?
Yes, all my sessions include edited/retouched images + print release via digital download. I do encourage you to order professional prints directly from your online gallery due to quality purposes.
how long will my session last?
Maternity sessions 1-2 hours
Newborn sessions 2-3 hours
Littles sessions 30-60 minutes
Smash & Splash sessions 60-90 minutes
Family sessions 30-60 minutes
what happens if the weather is bad?
Cloudy weather is completely fine, it makes for super beautiful moody photos. However, if it rains, snows, hails, etc. I will contact you as soon as possible to postpone or reschedule.
what do I need to bring to my session?
I honestly provide everything for your session! I strive to make all of my sessions as easy as possible for you. However there are a few things for each type of session that may be nice to have on hand to make the session run smoothly.
Maternity: regular bra and strapless bra, nude underwear, jewelry, touch up makeup
Newborn: pacifier (even if they don't take to one)
Littles: their favorite snack/drink, favorite toy
Smash & Splash: favorite snack/drink, favorite toy, favorite person
Family: positive attitudes :)
what types of sessions do you photograph?
I specialize in maternity, newborn, baby and family photography.
Unfortunately, I'm not booking engagements, wedding, couples, seniors, extended families, head shots, or events (baby showers, bridal showers, birthdays, etc.) at this time.
When do you schedule sessions?
All outdoor sessions are scheduled 1-2 hours prior to sunset, when the lighting is perfect.
Studio sessions are scheduled between 10am-3pm.
All sessions are scheduled Monday-Friday.
Newborn sessions are booked tentatively by your due date. Once your baby has arrived, you will contact me and we will set an actual date/time for your newborn session.
how do I book my session?
I do require payment in full to book your session. You can purchase your session by clicking on the Pricing tab. Once payment is received, you will then be put on my calendar.

what do I wear?
I have designed a beautiful Client Closet for you to browse and borrow for your session. These exclusive outfits were specifically picked to flatter and photograph beautifully. They range from a size XS-XL, most are adjustable and fit a variety of sizes.
Also included are outfits ranging from newborn to size 14 child.
No I do not rent out any of my outfits. These are exclusive to my clients.
when will my photos be ready?
I know you're super excited to see your photos and I am so excited to show you them! Galleries are usually complete in 2-4 weeks, but during busy season 5-6 weeks.
Am I allowed to take photos with my phone during my session?
Absolutely, as long as you share them with me! I love a good behind the scenes photo!
I don't want my photos on social media.
That is completely fine! I respect your privacy. Please be sure to tell me this before or during your session.
